Waveform Audio Editing Without a Complex Studio
GiliSoft Audio Editor provides visual waveform controls for music, interviews, podcasts, lectures, meeting recordings, and narration. Select a range to cut mistakes or silence. For complete clips in sequence, open Joiner from the task hub; for layered sources, choose Mix or the optional Multitrack Beta workspace.
Use File to load audio from the computer or a URL, Edit for selection and playback controls, Effects for gain, fades, noise reduction and more, and View for analyzers, tempo tools and ID3 tags. Multitrack is marked Beta in the current editor. For dedicated batch format conversion, use GiliSoft Audio Converter Ripper; for a wider collection of audio utilities, see GiliSoft Audio Toolbox.
Audio Editor Features
Join and Mix Audio Tracks
Use Joiner to put clips one after another, or Mix to blend sounds. Multitrack Beta provides separate channel lanes when a project needs more than one source in the editor.
Record System Sound and Microphone
Open Audio Recorder from the task hub for computer sound or microphone input, or choose File > New recording in the editor. Review the recording before making waveform edits.
Improve Sound with Practical Effects
The current Effects menu includes Gain, Fade In/Out, Noise Reduction (Voice), Paragraphic EQ, Graphic EQ, Graphic EQ (20 Bands), Compressor, Normalize, Hard Limiter, Delay, Distortion, Reverb, Audio Repair, pitch and playback-speed controls, Reverse, Invert, and Remove Silence. Preview the result before export.
Import, Convert, and Export Audio
Use File to load audio from the computer or a URL and open Export when editing is complete. The task hub offers a separate Converter for format changes; review the available options before saving.
Extract Audio and Edit MP3 Tags
The task hub includes Video to MP3 and ID3 Editor entries. In the waveform editor, ID3 Tags is also available under View for inspecting file metadata.
Batch Cut Audio Files
Apply repeated cutting tasks to multiple source files when lessons, recordings, samples, or ringtone clips need the same preparation workflow.

Check selection start, end, and duration in the editor, then preview or undo changes. The optional Multitrack Beta view shows separate channel lanes and controls for working with more than one source.
